Welcome to the "Ask the Tax Wizard" blog. I have decided to start this blog to help dispel some of the common misconceptions that are existing regarding the IRS, as well as to educate people about tax issues. Some of the topics I plan to cover over the next few months are: the Offer in Compromise (settlement), the Negotiated Installment Agreement, punishment for not filing, and many other topics.
